- Are the games free?
- Yes — every Blitzcade game is completely free to play, with no trial, no paywall and nothing to buy. There are no in-game purchases of any kind.
- Do I need to install anything?
- No. There is no app store, no download and no plugin: each game is a normal web page that runs in your browser. How long it takes to load depends on the game and your connection. If you'd like a shortcut, you can add Blitzcade to your home screen and it will open like an app. Pages and games you have already visited can reopen offline once they have been cached, but larger assets and anything that needs the network — leaderboards, friend codes, signing in — will not work until you are back online.
- Can I play on my phone?
- Many of them, yes. Controls and device support vary from game to game: a lot of them are built for touch, with taps, swipes and on-screen controls, while others are best played with a keyboard and mouse. Each game's page describes its controls, so it is worth a look before you start.
- Can I play with a friend?
- Yes. Tap Friend code at the top of the page to start a two-player duel: one of you creates a room and shares the short code, the other enters it, and you both play the same game with live scores side by side.
- Do I need an account?
- No — you can play everything without signing up, and your best scores are saved in your own browser. An account is optional. It exists so that eligible scores can be published to the global leaderboards and synced across your devices. Signing in uses an email address, and the form may offer a one-time code sent to that address or a password, if you have set one.
- Which game should I start with?
- When popularity data is available, the cards on the home page are ordered by play count, with the most played first. When it is not — offline, on an older browser, or if the request fails — they keep their previous order. If you want something instant, try Rocket Rush or Mole Mash; if you would rather think than react, try Sudoku or 2048 Fusion.
