Who these terms are with
This site is operated by Blitzcade, an independent UK arcade publisher. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean that publisher, and “you” means anyone using the site. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the site.
We may change these terms as the site changes. The version published here is the one that applies, and continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the updated version.
Intellectual property and copyright
The games, their code, artwork, audio, text and page designs are ours unless stated otherwise on the page in question. They are protected by copyright and related rights.
You may play the games, link to any page, and share those links freely. You may not copy, republish, rehost, decompile, sell or redistribute the games or the site's code and assets, in whole or in part, without our written permission. You may not present the games as your own or embed them in a way that suggests they are.
If you believe something on this site infringes your rights, write to privacy@blitzcade.com with enough detail to identify the material and we will look at it promptly.
Acceptable use
Use the site for its purpose: playing the games. Do not attempt to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or its interfaces, and do not use automated tools to submit scores or generate traffic.
Where a game records a score or a display name, submit only what is honestly yours and appropriate for a general audience. If you create a leaderboard account, keep your sign-in code to yourself and do not share or sell access to it. Our community rules set out what is expected of display names and what happens when a submission breaks them. We may hide or replace a display name, suspend an account's leaderboard participation and block access where use of the site is abusive or unlawful.
Two games carry a content advisory. That advisory is our own judgement about who a game suits and is not a formal age rating. Please take it into account when deciding whether a game is appropriate for you or for someone in your care.
No warranty, and the limits of our liability
The site and its games are provided free and as they are. We do not promise that they will be available without interruption, that they will be free of errors, or that they will work on every browser, device or configuration. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time.
Progress and settings are stored in your own browser. Clearing your browser data, switching browsers or using private browsing will lose them, and we cannot recover them for you.
Leaderboard accounts are different. If you create one, the best scores you submit are held on our server and are not lost when you clear your browser. Where our community rules have been broken we may hide or replace a display name and suspend an account's leaderboard participation, which stops its scores appearing on the public boards. We do not guarantee that the leaderboards or the account service will be available without interruption.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from using or being unable to use the site, including lost progress or lost scores. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Privacy, and the law that applies
What we collect, why we collect it and what choices you have are set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. Analytics are off until you agree to them and can be changed at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer. Advertising is not currently active on this site.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. Questions about these terms can go to privacy@blitzcade.com.
