Serpent Rush — free online snake game

How to play Serpent Rush

Serpent Rush is snake, sped up and given a scoring system. Eat orbs to grow, chain them for streaks, and stay off the walls. Golden orbs are worth five — but they vanish if you take too long.

How to play

• Swipe in the direction you want to turn.
• On a keyboard, the arrow keys or WASD steer.
• Every orb you eat makes you longer.
• Eating without pausing builds a streak worth extra points.
• The walls are deadly, and so is your own tail.

Tips

• Work the edges early and leave the middle open. A long snake needs somewhere to go, and the centre is the only space big enough.
• Only chase a golden orb if the path is already clear. Five points is not worth cutting across your own tail.
• Turn early rather than late. Cutting a corner tightly at speed is how most runs end.
