MOLE MASH

How to play Mole Mash

Mole Mash is sixty seconds of pure reaction. Moles pop up, gems are worth chasing, bombs are not, and the clock never stops. It is the most phone-friendly game on the site and the easiest one to lose a few rounds to.

How to play

• Tap a mole the moment it appears.
• Gems are worth more than an ordinary mole — take them when you see them.
• Do not tap the bombs. They cost you.
• You have 60 seconds. That is the whole game.

Tips

• Watch the whole board rather than following one hole. Peripheral vision spots a pop-up faster than a moving gaze does.
• Rest your hand near the middle of the screen so every hole is roughly the same distance away.
• Accuracy beats speed near the end. A mistaken bomb tap in the last ten seconds undoes a good minute of work.
