How to play Sky Hopper

Sky Hopper is a vertical jumper: you bounce automatically, and the only question is where you land next. Platforms crumble, slide and spring, and the higher you climb the less forgiving the gaps become.

How to play

• Drag or tilt left and right to steer while you are in the air. The bounce is automatic.
• On a keyboard, A/D or ←/→ steer.
• Crumbling platforms give way after one bounce, and springy ones launch you much higher.
• Falling off the bottom of the screen ends the run.
• P pauses, M mutes.

Tips

• Look above your character, not at it. By the time you are watching the jump you are making, the decision has already been taken.
• Springs are worth going out of your way for — one good launch skips a whole stretch of fiddly platforming.
• Steer gently. Small corrections land you on narrow platforms far more often than a hard swing across the screen.
