How to play Block Cascade

Block Cascade is a falling-block puzzle about tidiness under pressure. Pieces drop faster as you go, and the difference between a long game and a short one is almost always the flatness of your stack.

How to play

• Drag left and right to steer the falling piece.
• Tap to rotate it.
• Flick down to slam a piece into place instantly.
• On a keyboard: ← → to move, ↑ to rotate, Space to slam.
• Complete a full horizontal line to clear it. Top out and the run ends.

Tips

• Keep the stack flat. Every hole you bury costs you the rows above it, and holes are much easier to create than to dig out.
• Clearing several lines at once scores far better than clearing them one at a time, so it is worth building a little before you cash in.
• Slam only when you are certain. At speed, a confident slam into the wrong column is the most common way a good run ends.
